Hormonal Methods

Hormonal birth control methods have become very popular, in large part due to their very low failure rate. The hormonal methods that leave some room for user error (such as birth control pills) are slightly less reliable than methods that have no room for user error. See the following table for failure rates for hormonal methods of birth control:
