Candita

Were you looking for information about Candida? Candita is a common misspelling of Candida.
Women who are pregnant, have diabetes, or who take various antibiotics may have an increased risk of developing a Candida infection. Candida is a type of fungus that lives naturally in the human body. However, when certain factors occur (such as hormonal changes), the fungus can multiply and cause candidiasis (also called a yeast infection). Candidiasis causes symptoms such as genital itching and burning, as well as a "cottage cheese-like" vaginal discharge. Treatment for candidiasis typically consists of antifungal medications.
