Daysee Side Effects

Breakthrough bleeding, nausea, and changes in sex drive are potential side effects that may occur with Daysee. Adverse reactions to this form of birth control are usually mild and either do not require treatment or are easily treated. There are, however, certain problems with this birth control pill that require immediate medical attention, including chest pain, coughing up blood, or breast lumps.

An Introduction to Side Effects of Daysee

Daysee™ (levonorgestrel/ethinyl estradiol) is a prescription birth control pill (oral contraceptive). Because Daysee is a generic version of Seasonale®, any side effect information for Seasonale also applies to Daysee.

Just like any medicine, Daysee can cause side effects. However, not everyone who uses the contraceptive will experience problems. In fact, most women tolerate it quite well. If adverse reactions do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are treated easily by you or your healthcare provider.

(This article covers many, but not all, of the possible side effects with Daysee. Your healthcare provider can discuss a more complete list with you.)
