Is There Such a Thing as Sperm Allergy?

Final Thoughts

Although it may not be very common, it is possible to have a sperm allergy. If you develop problems like swelling, itching, and burning after having sexual intercourse with your partner, you may want to see if the symptoms reappear after using a condom. If you do not develop these symptoms with condom use, you may be allergic to your partner's semen.

If you have any concerns, contact your healthcare provider. He or she can help determine whether it is indeed a sperm allergy or another issue.
