You should not use the drug if you have heart disease, liver tumors, or certain allergies. In addition, Kelnor may increase the risk of heart attacks, strokes, and blood clots. Kelnor warnings and precautions also extend to women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Liver disease, such as liver failure, cirrhosis, hepatitis, or liver tumors
Cancer (or if you have had cancer in the past)
Unexplained vaginal bleeding
Any allergies, including allergies to dyes, foods, or preservatives.
Also, let your healthcare provider know if you:
Have an upcoming surgery
Smoke cigarettes
Are pregnant or thinking of becoming pregnant
Are breastfeeding.
Make sure to tell your healthcare provider about any other medications you are taking, including prescription and non-prescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements.
