Larin Fe

Larin Fe is a type of birth control pill that works to prevent pregnancy by stopping ovulation, altering the cervical mucus, and changing the lining of the uterus. There is only one standard dosage -- one tablet taken once a day, at the same time every day. Possible side effects include headaches, nausea, and breast tenderness.

What Is Larin Fe?

Larin™ Fe (norethindrone/ethinyl estradiol) is a prescription birth control pill. It is approved to prevent pregnancy.

Are There Side Effects?

Just like any medicine, Larin Fe can cause side effects. However, not everyone who uses the contraceptive will experience side effects. In fact, most women tolerate it quite well.

If side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are easily treated by you or your healthcare provider. Serious side effects are less common.

Common side effects of birth control pills in general include but are not limited to:

  • Breakthrough bleeding or spotting between periods
  • Nausea (with or without vomiting)
  • Breast tenderness
  • Acne
  • Headaches.
