Latisse Eye Ointment

Latisse® (bimatoprost ophthalmic solution) is a medication used to enhance eyelashes. This product is only available by prescription and is designed to help increase lash length, thickness, and darkness. It comes in the form of a liquid; it is not available as an eye ointment. Latisse works by increasing the number of eyelash hairs that are in the active growth phase and by increasing the length of time the hairs stay in this phase.
Latisse is applied once daily at night to the skin of the upper lash line. It works at the skin surface at the lash line, not directly on the lashes. Do not apply the medication to the lower lid, and make sure to blot any excess medication to avoid exposure to the surrounding skin. This helps to minimize hair growth in unwanted places.
