Levothroid Drug Interactions

Drug interactions with Levothroid may occur if you take certain medications (including several non-prescription products). Some of these Levothroid drug interactions may interfere with the body's ability to absorb Levothroid. As a result, your healthcare provider may need to adjust your dosage or you may need to separate your medications by a few hours. Antacids or gas-relieving medications
Antidepressant medications
Calcium products, including vitamin supplements and calcium-rich foods
Certain seizure medications, such as:

Phenobarbital (Luminal^®)

Cholestyramine (Prevalite^®, Questran^®, Questran^® Light)
