Drug Interactions With LiothyronineCertain medications can cause drug interactions with liothyronine, including tricyclic antidepressants, diabetes medicines, and some seizure medications. Some interactions may prevent liothyronine from being absorbed into the body, while others may increase your risk for side effects. Liothyronine may also affect the levels of certain medications in the blood. To help prevent liothyronine interactions, tell your healthcare provider about all other medicines you are taking.
