What If I Take an Overdose?

Women who take too much Loestrin 24 Fe may experience the following symptoms:
 
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Vaginal bleeding
  • Other menstrual irregularities.

Storage Methods for Loestrin 24 Fe

Keep the tablets in their original package. The packaging is designed to help you remember to take the tablets each day and to take the tablets in the right order. Keep the package at room temperature, away from moisture or heat.
 
Keep Loestrin 24 Fe and all other medications out of the reach of children.
 

What If I Miss a Dose?

Missing doses of Loestrin 24 Fe increases the risk of pregnancy. What you should do depends on how many tablets you have missed and where exactly you are in your cycle. Refer to the patient information that comes with each pack of Loestrin 24 Fe or consult your healthcare provider if you are not sure what to do (also see Loestrin 24 Fe Dosage for more information).
 

Strengths of Loestrin 24 Fe

Loestrin 24 Fe comes in a package with 28 tablets. The first 24 tablets each contain 1 mg of norethindrone acetate and 20 mcg of ethinyl estradiol. The last four tablets do not contain any hormones, but they do contain 75 mg of ferrous fumarate (iron) per tablet.
