It is an extended-cycle oral contraceptive, which means that it provides more time between menstrual periods. With Amethia, you will get your period once every three months (four times a year). Amethia is a generic version of Seasonique®.
Are There Side Effects?Just like any medicine, Amethia may cause side effects. However, not everyone who takes the contraceptive will experience problems. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well.
