Sronyx is a generic oral contraceptive that is available by prescription. It contains two hormones (progestin and estrogen) that prevent pregnancy by stopping ovulation and altering the lining of the uterus and cervical mucus. Each pack contains 28 pills that must be taken once daily in order. While most women tolerate it well, potential side effects include nausea, breakthrough bleeding, and headaches.
- Breast swelling and tenderness
- Nausea with or without vomiting
- Breakthrough bleeding or spotting (between periods)
