Urinary Tract Infection After a Myomectomy

 urinary tract infection (UTI) is an infection of the organs that are part of the urinary system, including:
 
  • Kidneys
  • Ureters
  • Bladder
  • Urethra.
 
Urinary tract infections following a myomectomy are usually treated easily with oral or IV antibiotics, and will rarely increase the amount of time the patient must stay in the hospital.
