Were you looking for information about Nystatin? Nysatin is a common misspelling of nystatin.
The prescription drug nystatin is used for treating various types of fungal infections, including thrush and certain types of diaper rash. It works by binding to ergosterol (an important component of the fungal cell membrane), an action that makes the cell membrane more "leaky" and allows for the leakage of important cellular contents to occur.

There are many nystatin products currently available on the market, including skin products (creams, ointments, and powder), oral products (tablets and liquid), and vaginal tablets.
