Progesterone CapsulesProgesterone capsules are used to cause periods in premenopausal women who have stopped having them. They are also useful for preventing an excessive buildup of the lining of the uterus. Progesterone capsules are taken once a day and are available in two strengths. While most women have no problems with the medication, side effects such as headaches, cramping, and breast tenderness are possible.
