Serious Side Effects

Some side effects of Prostin E2 are potentially serious and should be reported immediately to your healthcare provider. These include but are not limited to:
  • Signs of an allergic reaction, such as:
    • An unexplained rash
    • Hives
    • Itching
    • Unexplained swelling, especially of the mouth, lips, or throat
    • Wheezing
    • Difficulty breathing or swallowing
  • Abnormally strong or frequent uterine contractions
  • A persistent or high fever
  • Chest pain or pressure
  • Dizziness or fainting
  • Severe uterine pain (lower abdominal pain or pelvic pain)
  • Persistent fever, nausea, vomiting, abdominal (stomach) pain, or diarrhea
  • An abnormally beating heart or a feeling of fluttering in your chest.
