Were you looking for information about Pyelonephritis? Pyelonephritits is a common misspelling of pyelonephritis.
Pyelonephritis is a serious type of urinary tract infection. It develops when bacteria, in most cases Escherichia coli (E. coli), spread from the bladder to the kidneys. Nausea and vomiting, pain or stinging when passing urine, and frequent or intense urges to urinate are some of the common symptoms of this condition. Once it is determined that your symptoms have been caused by pyelonephritis (through urine or imaging tests), your healthcare provider will prescribe an antibiotic to kill the bacteria.
