The birth control pill Sprintec®
(norgestimate/ethinyl estradiol) is a popular contraceptive that comes in the form of tablets (pills) and is taken once a day. Each pack of Sprintec contains 28 tablets. Be sure to take them in order. Once you finish a pack, start a new one right away. You will probably start your period during the last seven days of the pack.
In order for Sprintec to work properly, it must be taken as prescribed. If you have trouble remembering to take your tablets at the same time each day, please talk with your healthcare provider, as missing any doses increases your risk of unintentional pregnancy.
