Who Should Not Use Vandazole?

You should not use Vandazole if you:
  • Are allergic to it, metronidazole, or any of the inactive components used to make the medication. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients.
  • Cannot stop consuming alcohol during Vandazole treatment and for three days afterward.
  • Have taken disulfiram (Antabuse) within the past two weeks.
