Estarylla Birth Control Information

EstaryllaTM (norgestimate/ethinyl estradiol) is a prescription medication used for preventing pregnancy. Information about this particular birth control pill should be reviewed with your healthcare provider prior to use in order to help ensure its safety and effectiveness. Some of the possible side effects include headaches, bloating and breast tenderness. As a generic version of Ortho-Cyclen®, Estarylla is a combined oral contraceptive that contains two different hormones (estrogen and progestin) and primarily works by stopping ovulation in a woman. It comes in tablet form and is taken by mouth once a day. It is important to take this pill every day, at the same time each day, as missing doses increases your risk of an unintentional pregnancy.
