Gildagia Birth Control Information

GildagiaTM (norethindrone/ethinyl estradiol) is one of the many birth control pills available to women today. This generic version of Ovcon® 35 is a combined oral contraceptive (it contains both an estrogen and a progestin hormone). It works by preventing ovulation, changing the cervical mucus, and altering the lining of the uterus. This contraceptive comes in tablet form and is taken by mouth once a day. Each pack of Gildagia contains 28 pills. It is important to take this pill every day, at the same time each day, as missing doses increases your risk of an unintentional pregnancy. Although this is an effective form of birth control, Gildagia's safety information should be reviewed with your healthcare provider prior to use in order to make sure it's right for you. Women who have diabetes, migraines, or other medical conditions may have an increased risk for complications while using this pill.
