Infertility Information

Infertility is a complex subject. There are many different factors in its development -- some having to do with the man, some with the woman, and some cases are just unexplained (see Cause of Infertility). Fortunately, treatment is possible and can include drugs, surgery, or artificial reproductive technology (ART).
If you and your partner are coping with infertility and the various emotions it brings up, you may be unsure of how to talk to friends and family about it. Rest assured, they do want to help, so don't be afraid to tell people how they can best support you.
On the other hand, if you have a loved one who is going through infertility, you may be feeling unsure of what to do or say. We have information on the proper "infertility etiquette" -- what not to say, what you can say, and other things to keep in mind.
