Xeomin Medication Information

Xeomin® (incobotulinumtoxinA) is a drug used to treat several conditions, such as wrinkles between the eyebrows, neck pain, and eyelid twitching. It comes as an injection that is given directly into a muscle. Xeomin contains a toxin that works by decreasing nerve signals to the muscles causing the problems, allowing the muscles to relax. This effect, however, is only temporary, and additional injections of the medicine are necessary to maintain the desired effects.
Make sure to review the safety information for Xeomin before receiving this medication. It may not be suitable for everyone, so let your healthcare provider know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have certain medical conditions (such as neuromuscular disease or any type of infection), are taking any other medicines, or have any allergies.
