Xeomin Overview

Wrinkles between the eyebrows, neck pain, and eyelid twitching are some of the conditions that can be treated with Xeomin® (incobotulinumtoxinA). This prescription medicine works to relax the muscles that can cause these problems. It does this by decreasing the nerve signals to the muscles.
The drug comes in the form of an injection that is given directly into the muscle. The effects of Xeomin are only temporary; additional injections will be needed to maintain the desired effects.
Although most people tolerate Xeomin well, side effects are possible and may include difficulty swallowing, droopy eyelids, and dry eyes. You may not be able to receive these injections if you have certain medical problems, such as neuromuscular disease or an infection near the area where you will receive the injection.
