Available by prescription only, Xeomin® (incobotulinumtoxinA) is a drug approved for several purposes, such as minimizing wrinkles between the eyebrows, relieving neck pain, and treating eyelid twitching. This drug is a type of toxin and works by decreasing nerve signals to the muscles, causing them to relax.
Xeomin is administered as an injection directly into the muscles that are causing the problems. Some people who receive these injections may experience some type of side effect, such as dry eyes, dry mouth, or droopy eyelids.
