Were you looking for information about Yasmin? Yazmine is a common misspelling of Yasmin.
Yasmin® (drospirenone/ethinyl estradiol) is a medication that is used to prevent pregnancy. This prescription birth control pill works in several ways -- it prevents ovulation, alters the cervical mucus, and changes the lining of the uterus. Yasmin comes in the form of a tablet that is taken at the same time every day. Although most people tolerate it well, this form of contraception is not suitable for everyone. Before taking it, make sure your healthcare provider is aware of any medical conditions you may have, as well as any other medications you are taking.
(Click Yasmin for more detail on how Yasmin works, what to tell your healthcare provider about before taking it, and tips on when and how to take the medication. You can also click any of the links in the box to the right for specific information.)
