For example, you should be aware of the possible risk of developing blood clots, an increased risk of liver tumors, and possible drug interactions. Yaz warnings and precautions also extend to people with certain medical conditions (such as diabetes or high cholesterol), as well as women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Also, let your healthcare provider know if you:
Have an upcoming surgery
Smoke cigarettes
Are pregnant or thinking of becoming pregnant
Are breastfeeding.
